ihcpl/week 10/summary learning 2.0

ihcpl was alot more fun than I expected! Thanks for the motivation, sincerely. if you would have told me i would do things that weren't required, i wouldn't have believed you. all of the exercises we did, although somewhat fun in nature, are very relevant to the library world. it is so important for us to keep abreast of what is new technology wise and with trends so we can effectively compete with today's world and fulfill needs of our patrons and be able to communicate with them and provide assistance to them about subjects that are important and modern. There are also so many ways to keep us on the map by participating in these applications which can help us advertise the library and its programs in addition to just getting better name recognition. specifically, having videoclips of sample programs at the library, such as babytimes, etc. and using podcasts for training (as we have already started to do)are wonderful ways of implementing 2.0. But we could also consider having a presence with a site like youtube even if its a more humorous application than serious. it would be a way to appeal to younger audiences in a way that they are relating to now. Thanks again!
